I have one of those, but will be selling it.. Hate the feel, might just be me though.

Yep. As expected. Not really my cup of tea. I can see why people like it, but eh... Wasn't the savior the keyboard race that it was hyped up to be.

Perhaps 45G is just too light for me.

New $350 keyboard assembled. Went for a monochrome theme this time around for an understated look. Everything that makes the keyboard what it is is under the hood.

We're talking KBDfans 5 Degree case with WKL blockers and a Carribean dye-sub PBT keycap set for the outside.

As for the inside;

Brass plate

DZ60 PCB

67g Tealios lubed with Tribosys 3204

Zeal stabilisers

Aesthetic goddess status confirmed. That's extremely sexy looking board.

I tend to like light switches, but not topre for sure. It was obvious that it's not for me after 5 minutes :D I gave it a week of use though, but still, it's just not for me. That glorifying it gets in keyboard community is kinda unjustified imho. I'm thinking to give these a go: https://www.keyclack.com/products/bke-topre-dome-replacements  before selling it.

I swapped it with my office Kira. It's not doing a bad job at keeping up with my workload actually. I don't prefer it, but it's thunky enough for me to audibly confirm a keypress. Using heavier domes might actually save it for me.

Quick pic of my two lovelies, my monochromatic elite and then my Japanese beauty.

Top keyboard is rocking 67g Tealios lubed with Tribosys 3204, brass plate, Zeal stabilizers, and the KBDfans 5 Degree case.

Bottom keyboard is (of this post) rocking Kailh Box Jades.

Fun fact, top keyboard is worth 2 of the bottom keyboard, the Zeal products really inflate the costs but they're well worth it.

Fully accustomed to the Thock™ now.

The domes in the Leopold FC980C went from being jarringly different from MX style switches, to one of my favorites.

I want to try a few other variants of the Topre/EC domes, but the cost of entry and level of tedium of swapping the domes means I'll likely stick with the 45G for a while.

I use a 1988 IBM Model M. Buckling spring, no switches. It's great for everything and have been using it since 1994.

Don't need an opinion.  It can be turned on or off so it's a switch

Technically, but it's not a microswitch. I don't know what imho is, but no, you're not wrong.
