i also dont like a keyboard without at least a number row

the space is too small too

and has a horrible arrow layout

I didn't expect you to like the whole board, I was just showing off the small spacebar.  As for the spacebar being TOO small, if you type from the home row both of your thumbs are always right on top of it, and you can reach both the raise and lower keys, and the windows, alt, and kind of control with your thumbs, which makes much more sense IMO than using your pinkies.

More non-ortho keyboards should have short spacebars, the space character really doesn't need six and a half spaces.

its bad design and looks bad

If you're saying ortho looks bad, that's my fault.  I'm using a blue 3d printed case and it looks like crap.  There are some beautiful ortho boards out there, like this one:

It's a good design actually.  And how it looks is just your subjective opinion.

you need ortho boards if you do type from "home row" as its a disgustingly un-intuitive way of typing.

You said that ortho boards are ugly, and assuming that the only ortho board you had seen was mine, I gave you an example of one I thought looked better.

Edit:

What's unintuitive about home-row typing?

It's a beautiful color scheme to be fair so it's a nice choice of keycaps.

I personally can't get comfortable with anything other than OEM profile at the moment. I have Cherry profile caps and they sit too low as well as don't resonate sound too much so it sounds cheap and feels too low.

Haven't tried SA or DSA though.

any of you guys with a fighting "pad" like this use it with touhou?

I built my own fighting, arcade stick for touhou and other shmups in 2008 and ive been back and fourth on using the buttons on my controller and using wasd for movement

im having trouble full committing either way.

oddly enough for old emulated games i prefer wasd and then my fightstick buttons. lol

SA is da bomb. Also MT3. But based on the above I doubt you will like DSA at all.  XDA is another story,  a bit more nuanced.

Okay so i am looking into some O Rings for my Drevo Blademaster TE with brown switches, I need a little more sound dampening and was wondering what would give me good sound dampening for my setup.

I have rather thin walls in my apartment so I need something that can help aid in my sound output.

I have a set of cheap clear ones more precisely these ones:

https://www.rosewill.com/product/rosewill-ro-100t-o-ring-dampeners/

I was wondering if there was anything a little better.

I know these comes in black, red and blue but my inexperience with mech keyboards makes me a little unsure if these other types would be any better.

Well its only for the walls being a bit thin.

Again orings are something i am looking into.

And yes rosewill makes them, I was just referencing the ones I have and asking if others would be better.

If not then I wont bother, I was more considering replacing the ones I had and seeing if there was improvement by buying another type.

I'm not sure there's a noticeable difference between O-rings, but I've only ever used 1.5mm thick O-rings and have never tried anything thicker or thinner, wider, etc. Maybe even how firm the O-rings are would dampen the sound further.

Have you seen the odin drop in? It's a wasd converter plate that fits over a standard joystick hole with a pcb for cherry switch mounting.
