Yeah, it's actually getting pretty popular for fighting games, I've heard.  Apparently it can be way more accurate than a typical stick, and lets you do a haduken while walking backwards.

I have a stick too, just wanted to try this

It's sort of popular for fighting games, but it's been banned from some events coz Daigo was doing some tricky stuff with it that's technically possible with gamepad, but not regular stick

i was going to edit it and say "nvm this is a keyboard forum, we have problems"

I literally have my endgame keyboard (wooting one) and i bought a ducky one tkl with speed switches to try it out.

we're fucked

Someone did show up to evo japan with a corsair gaming keyboard, afaik he got waxed

Also, having the buttons that close together would likely result in a lot more input mistakes on long combos

I mean that sounds relatively fine :P I'm waiting for my 150 dollar keycap set to finish production so it'll ship to me, and I have 2 other group buys i'm waiting on

In front of me I have 4 keyboards and a numpad, and I have another one to my side, and then more elsewhere

Ancient Gray and Glazed Green.

The gray are meme level heavy linears and the green are light and fast clickies.

Glazed green is my favorite out of the two.

Putting the grays in my media keeb since accidental key presses happen a lot when it's on the couch.

I use that layout with a split 0 so the arrow cluster is on the bottom of the numpad

I find it superior to TKL since it doesn't actually change the size that much, you have access to the same buttons and then more because of the numpad layer. If I wanted one with the frow, there are a lot of options then, but not in this more compact format.

That's an interesting layout! Looks like a 96 key but with a 2.25u right shift instead of a 1.75u rshift.

Now that's how you do a 60% + numpad, that is an amazing implementation of arrow keys.
