Would be worth it to see if you can get a cIEM company to do something for you.  They're wonderful as earplugs and headphones.  Work in a noisy office and with my UE 18's in I hear nearly nothing.

Even though I like the whole den, it's just too messy for me lol

 

Mainly the desks. One in particular (he knows who he is) was just terrible and I died inside seeing it. Ermagherd.

Yes, a few times actually...

Once in the hardline water cooling guide (I think that was supposed to be 2 parts but only ended up being 1 because of how much footage was lost lol), and once (or maybe even twice lol...) with the Phonesoap Charger.

do the computers auto shutdown after the UPS battery gets low ?

 

like if the editors leave their computers on and go to lunch and a tree falls on a power line or something

I believe that is what the UPS' are designed to do. Make sure, after the 'real power' cut off, you can at least use your PC for a bit, so you an save and turn it off yourself. But they did install a new system to function as a UPS, as opposed to these units (which according to Linus were refurb units and had some issues)
