Mini News: Noctua releases Chromax

na_chromax.jpg?w=650

http://techicize.com/noctua-introduces-chromax-accessories/

So Noctua finally released their chromax line of anti-vibration mounts. Now people can pay to match their case/led lighting.

The 2 packs becoming in a few different colours: red, blue, green, yellow, black and white. Suggested price is EUR 6.90.

Some people will be excited for new options. I'm indifferent as I don't have any yet, but having the option is welcome.

“When we introduced our industrialPPC series, we mainly had industrial clients in mind, but the fans have become surprisingly popular among overclockers and enthusiasts,” explains Roland Mossig (Noctua CEO). “The new NA-SAVP1 kits now give them the option of matching their iPPC fans to various build themes by simply changing the supplied anti-vibration pads for chromax ones.”

Okay, but where are the new fan designs based on the Gentle Typhoons that were demo'ed a few months back? I want active noise cancellation with magnetic levitation bearings for 4db 5000 RPM ownage!

I still think that the original brown and cream is the best color because it's like Noctua's signature tag.

That's why I have them in my system instead of industrials or redux.

Cool!

Now they just need their normal line of fans in black.

I mean seriously who in their company thought this looked good

I don't know. Well, I know why they did it (it's the colors of the owl of their logo and name,) but you'd think they would've changed it by now.

I kinda like the colors. It looks nice on my CPU cooler through my window. :)

I used to be quite active here.

Either hope that they release it down the road, or get the white ones and paint them purple.

Me, reds all the way.

If you have a coffee themed  build maybe, but most people have black or white with an accent color like red or blue., making the fans look out of place.

Seriously the fans are already like $40 each and now they want to charge for some little plastic things? This is just getting out of control now.

I actually like the original colors xD Noctua being all unique with their poop brown signature design!

but either way, I don't buy Noctua because they are expensive for fans. Now they want more $ to sell you color options that other companies start with??? lol

Brand awareness. Everyone can recognize the poop brown Noctua fans easily. No one will ever forget them. Yeah it drives some sales away, but you will never forget the color.

I'd really like to see them try their hands at LED lighting.

I'd bet $10 that they'd come up with something that would actually be fucking awesome. Compared to the standard "reverse swastika" of most LED fans these days.
