Starting January 1st, 2021, we will be handing out awards based on new higher folding badge thresholds. These new values have been decided due to the increase of power a GPU can provide; this has made it much easier to achieve badges in recent years. Anyone holding a current badge will be grandfathered in! This means you won't have your badge downgraded after the new thresholds come into effect.    F@H Badge Thresholds In order to be rewarded with the Folding @ Home badge, please

Hit 1 mil on both Folding and Boinc. Now is a long path to 25mil

Almost at 400,000... All on a Q6600 and FX 4100 :P Going to throw the 650ti in the FX system today and see how it goes :D

how does the FX4100 do? just curious because I literally have one on a shelf lol

 

my 3570K @ 4.2 will do almost 30K a day in the chrome client lol. But it's been a while (months) since I've done that so idk if it's less now.

From it looks like it will knock out around 10k-20k points per day depending on the work load using the chrome client. It surprised me for sure. I am going to throw my 650ti in the system today and see if I can get better by using mainly the GPU over the CPU but I doubt it. But ya it does quite well and that is on stock, push the thing to 4Ghz and you might see better.

nearly top 1000 with like 991k points only like 14k points to go hopefully tonight. Used to be top 100 with a gt630 and an old xeon.
