I really hope this is a joke. Socialism doesn't really work. It goes against individual possession and people's rights, and the American values. It is the collective ownership of property. I mean, in what world does something that discourages entrepreneurship seem good? After all, what is the problem with socialism? It is that eventually, you run out of other people's money to spend.

Contrary to republican belief Bernie Sanders isn't going to run the country into the ground considering he isn't proposing an outrageous flat tax of 10 to 20% (like the Republicans) 

 

Trickle Down Economics hasn't really worked so like what's the harm in trying something new (Democratic Socialism) if we're already in a bad spot and could easily slip further either we keep slipping or we recover by trying something new.

Well you made it sound. He was corrupted because he did that. Tons of companies do that.

 

Even if he did have failing companies, he's smart to not get in more debt because of the loophole in the law which allows one to not have to pay back debt and still continue to have the company keep on going.

So you pitch an idea to investors to take their money, mess up your financing of that company and default on all your loans.  Sell all assets and give whatever selling off the assets make to the banks.  Screwing your investors.  Ethical corruption as far as I can see.

The United States Government engaging in any kind of 'crack down' on a religion, islam or any other religion, would be a distinct violation of The First Amendment.  Any legislation passed to that effect would be shut down in the courts.  The only way it could work would be if the Constitution of The United States were to be amended.  Let me assure you, the United States, which can barely pass a federal budget, is absolutely not capable of passing a constitutional amendment to add restrictions of religious freedom.  Seriously, it'd be easier to pass an amendment to ban all puppies from the United States.

I kept reading other sources.  It seems Donald was the recipient of a direct inheritance of $35M when his father died.  His father's company was estimated to be worth $400M.  How much of that company Donald got is not publicly available.... at least that I have seen... and I am done with reading about him.

• Socialism is simply putting the means of production in the hands of the workers not the executives (private possessions are private and owned by either one person or who ever the owner decides to use that possession)
• Bernie Sanders isn't like a hard core socialist, he's a democratic socialist
• A lot of things stand in the way of the American Dream and it's not necessarily a goal for all (some might favor the European Dream)
• Capitalism without Socialism is Fascism and Socialism without Capitalism is Marxism

The problem is what he directly says, like distributing money to poorer people from the pockets of rich people because they don't have any money. And also making everything free for people (yet can't tell us how it will be paid for except on the backs of hard working Americans who have "too much money").

Everything free? Exaggeration much... Sure Bernie Sanders is a little ambitious (specifically with making college tuition free).

I like Bernie for his ambition but I guess O'Malley is more sensible (and not to mention also for LGBT equality)
