Need for Speed soundtrack revealed

For me personally, one of the most important aspects of NFS games is the soundtrack (not just NFS games, Burnout anyone?). Anyone who's played Underground, Underground 2 or Most Wanted or even older titles (didn't play any newer games so can't comment for those, except new Most Wanted) should know what I'm talking about. 

 

And now finally we've got the soundtrack for the new game. How does it look? There are 64 songs, ranging from EDM and rock to rap. So basically every mentioned soundtrack.

However, I have no idea who most of these artists are. Seriously, I've never heard about most of them. And that is not necessarily a problem, as long as it's good. I'll have to listen to these songs first before I comment on anything, but I hope there is enough rock/metal.  :lol:

From the songs I know in that list, it seems like a good soundtrack

Oh they are one of few that I know, and I don't like it.   :ph34r: At least for now, because it sounds like one of those songs you can't get out of your head.

What is the point of M2 in the game if you can have M3/M4 (I know it's a different performance group)? And I'm talking few M3 editions. I'd rather see some other cars instead of 100 BMW's. Too much of the same brand is not good, no matter the brand.

No it won't.

 

I like some electronic music, but most of it is garbage to me. The best electronic music in my opinion is made by people who can actually play an instrument.

That's because for you EDM and music from the radio is "most of it", when it's the contrary. The beauty of electronic music is there're so many different genres, everyday you can learn new sounds and ways to do music.

 

And yes it will, in fact, pretty much all pop music from nowadays is basically electronic music with lyrics.

 

PD: Btw Skrillex can play guitar and he's a singer, yet I think you probably find his music "garbage". So you might reconsider that definition ;)

I haven't even looked at the soundtrack, but knowing EA, Junkie XL has got to be one of the artists.

The biggest  BURNOUT  fanboy on this forum.

I noticed that Chemical Brothers are on there. The first song I listened to from them (speaking of garbage) is "The Big Jump." (from - you guessed it - Burnout Revenge.) Not a good first impression.

I like some of Skrillex's stuff, and I'm aware he plays guitar. I knew who he was before he was Skrillex.

 

I don't listen to stuff on the radio. I'm very well aware of most of the EDM music that's out there, and most of it is not great at all - dare I say most of Deadmau5's music isn't good when a lot of these kids these days swear by his and other's electronic music.

 

I try to be objective when I listen to music; there's even a whack ton of bands in the genres I like more than electronic music that I will say aren't good at all.

 

EDIT: Please don't respond saying "lol you mentioned deadmau5 that's not even good edm". Good that we agree, but that's not the only electronic music I know about.

The sound tracks in those games were always one of the highlights to me. I don't recognise many here but i'm hoping it'll be as awesome :) They usually do a bang up job.
