Picked this up today - its was featured at Shot Show so I had to get it and try.  New varmint gun.  Pellet gun, all the squirrels in muh belly!  (yes that is a working supressor)

I live in City limits.  Suppressor states that for the first 5 to 50 pellets its extremely loud (1300 fps once broken in, for reference average .22lr round is 1280 fps).  I got it out to break it in (have field behind house) this thing is louder than a .22 mag rifle lol.  I shot it once, neighbor and I locked eyes (we were having a fire, kids over etc) and was like - nope putting this away, dont want to deal with cops today lolol.  Cant wait to see how quiet it gets but this is probably one of my top purchases in terms of affordability to shoot, and once I get it dialed in (and do some shots through my ballistics gel to test penetration at yardage) Im curious how large of game I can hunt with it, with a well placed shot.

It's because of the muzzle velocity, grains of the projectile, explosive charge of the powder, etc.  It's also why AK guy did a video where he blew apart a 12 gauge that had been specifically barrelled to 50 BMG--just to prove that they are entirely on different levels of chamber pressure.

Well I knew there was major differences I just had no idea just how big the guns really were. Like that one is so wide, and its even next to a db shotgun.

What Caliber pellets does your Air Rifle shoot? For Urban and Semi-Urban Areas you should use a lower powered Air Rifle. No larger then .22 Cal Pellets, and no higher then ~500 fps at the most. For Rabbits, Rats, and Squirrels...

Recently bought the last major category of gun that I've been interested in: an AK-47.  Palmetto State Armory.  Underfolder.  I feel so slavic with it!  Never bothered to get glamour shots of it, so here's a stock photo:

They didn't have any units available at the time with wooden furniture up there.  I wasn't 100% sure about it at the time, either, but now that I have it I like it.

I've had an older Springfield M1A with the full size 22" barrel (seems like an old GI surplus) and I have shot it maybe three times since I've had it.

Kind of want to trade it for the Scout Squad 18"

But every time I start thinking about it, I realize it just makes more sense to build an AR10 variant

Convince me the M1A platform is still relevant

Hey all.  Not posted in this thread for a while but i've recently made another Gun purchase and wanted to share

My brand new Carl Walther CP88 Competition in matt black.  I'm planning on buying the Walnut grips for it next i think they'll look really good 🙂

image.thumb.jpeg.9fadbe337f04f0cafd317786167f5968.jpegimage.thumb.jpeg.046fe340b04e056630c29d41334e8b84.jpeg

I still say it looks like the old Master System light gun with that muzzle break on it.  I kinda love it for that though lol

With all the Trolls, Try Hards, Noobs and Weirdos around here you'd think i'd find SOMEWHERE to fit in!

Also: OHHHHHHHHH, it's a pellet gun.  Thought the thing looked WAY different than any Walther I've ever seen 🙂

Yeah it's brand new.  it was in a plastic baggy in the box caked in pelgun oil when i picked it up from the shop.  the barrel release is stiff as all hell at the moment so i've left it with my Uncle for a couple of days so he can work the stiffness out.  they just have really tight tolerences on them and need working loose a bit

Yeah i'm in the UK.  Even live rifles over here can't be bigger than .22 and then you need a licence for them too AND you're only allowed them for paper target shooting

ummm.... That's not even true for semi auto which are restricted to .22lr - Section 1's will be granted on those for pest control, though the most common use is paper punching.

And you most certainly can get rifles larger than .22....

I don't much about guns but I played Phantom Forces on Roblox for 4 years, so that means I'm pretty much a gun expert. Being in the god forsaken land of Australia, I've never seen or shot a live gun. You Americans don't know what it's like. My favourite gun of all time is the Mosin Nagant. An excellent rifle portrayed in history. My experience with guns is BB guns, airsoft, and gelsoft. I'm a god sniper by the way, and a demon on the airsoft battelfield. We're also not allowed trick knives such as karambits or butterfly knives in Australia. It's kinda stupid, and I have to resort to using dulll trainers. Anyone else here who was a Phantom Forces enthusiast?

Depends on the state.  In Florida, it was about 60 days when I got mine a few years ago.  Probably longer nowadays now that we're constantly one step away from apocalypse and everyone wants to pack heat.
