Years ago I bought my First PC, not only did the store build it (mum didnt want me to build it myself just incase), I got a Thermaltake Orb for the cpu cooler( think thats what it was called), this was back before I knew to look up performance and reviews on the internet :(

My HDD crashed and used my external hdd as my boot drive (SOO SLOW!)

Then Bought a 40gb ssd for the boot drive ( a much needed performance boost!!!) however it turned out that windows vista and 7 took up all the space and i always had to delete random temp stuff just to watch youtube videos.

My Rig:

OS: MSX CPU:Intel i5 4690K RAM: 16GB Averix Core Series  GPU: XFX R9 280X SSD:128GB Crucial M4 Motherboard:Gigabyte GA-Z97N Wifi Powersupply: Corsair HX750 CPU Cooler: Corsair H60i Case: Corsair 250D Monitors: Asus VE278 and Asus VW202 Keyboard: Steel Series 6G V2 Mouse: CM Sentinel Advanced Audio: Objective 2 ODAC Headphones: Senheiser HD595

I have a lot of things I want to come out with:

I use VGA for my second monitor, which is almost 11 years old non-widescreen 17" Medion.

I have already my case and CPU-cooler but nothing else.

I am thinking about buy a PSU now, and later the OS, and lastly the rest.

My mobile gaming headset is the cheapest piece of $#!t, you can buy on this planet.

My back-up drive is a Hitachi 640GB formatted in FAT32

I don´t like Dota 2

I did not uninstall the bloatware that came with my laptop, and I am in fact using some of it.

I run Ad-block on everything possible.

I make Skype calls, without my mic plugged in, even though I have Razer Comms installed.

My phone is a old Nokia brick

I am saving up twist-ties so I can have some cable-management in my case, an Antec LanBoy Air Blue.

I am gaming hardcore on a low-med ended laptop

Wherever I go with my laptop, I am also bringing a folder with 40 CD´s and DVD`s

I am still buying games at Gamestop.

I loved my Xbox 360 (until it got RROD)

This is just some I have done. My list could go on, but I don´t want you all to know everything I have done wrong with my tech.

Current Specs: CPU: Intel I5 4690K, Motherboard: ASUS Z97-AR, RAM: 8GB Kingston HyperX 1600Mhz, GPU: Sapphire Nitro Radeon R9 390, SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 250GB, HDD: 3x Seagate Constellation ES 500GB in RAID 5, PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G2, Case: Antec LanBoy Air Blue/Black. Mouse: Corsair M65 Pro, Keyboard: Razer Blackwidow Ultimate(2012), Headset: Kingston HyperX Cloud 1.

I bought $15 pc speakers. :(

pshhh you speakers cost more then mine... im using creative speakers ( just a left and a right you don't need more then that lol)  i got for free that are plugged into a linksys router power cable since i got them. They came with the plug even though it doesn't fit the jack well and its output is higher then what the speakers need(still surprised they work) i have been using them for +6 years now

I have a 4670k and still overclocked it ( with H100i ), that's because I don't know how to. :(
