What is your favorite color scheme?

Red Harbinger

If I would have a black and something color scheme it would be black and blue, black case and components with blue accents and blue led light and fans. Red is a too agressive color to light up your rig.

Longboarders/ skaters message me!

I've been sick of it since around 2011 (although I never liked it in the 1st place)

Almost all motherboards are black and red these days, or anything to do with "gaming"

I wish motherboard makers would just make non-coloured specific products like black, black and silver, black and white, white etc

Red/Black is definitely overdone/generic, but when done well I think it looks good.  Personally I was going to go for one in my current build if I opted for an ASUS or MSI card, but I opted for Blue/Black because of the Blue LED Windforce logo on my Gigabyte card.  Next build I'm probably going Red/Black for a change though.

Honestly I'm cool with almost any colour scheme though, as long as the colour balance is done correctly - personally I prefer a majority of one colour, and subtle or confined uses of alternate colour accents.

But to be honest, R/B isn't going to go away any time soon.  It sells well and manufacturers and designers will continue to use it as long as it does.

I was going to go X99 with a X99S-SLI-Plus but I ended up going high-end Z97 instead. Black+White takes the cake for my favourite combo here, but red+black will suffice.

See this is why I don't care much for a window, I just want something fast enough that works. How it looks is an afterthought.

I've grown fond with orange, and green, with either white or black.

I think it's awesome:

No, I'm current using my black and red PC and I still love it. I used to have my green PC but got sick of it.

Depends on person taste.

Black and white would be nice but all black (and maybe little bit silver?) would be awesome ;)

Black and red is a much better choice that everything blue, as it was when they started adding colors to components and customizing was becoming a thing. There was a good number of years where everything was blue. Blue LEDs, blue fans, blue this, blue that. I hated it and would always have to paint stuff or spend a ton of extra money to find stuff in the colors I wanted. That was before you could really find mother boards and other components in any other color than PCB.

EDIT: This post makes me feel old...

I'm pretty sick of the combination, but I can't really say anything since that's the current color scheme of my desktop. I want my next scheme to be black and white but we'll see once it happens.

To me red and black look like it will run hot and more likely to overheat more

Blue is now my favourite colour, because it looks and feel calm, quiet, cool (as in temperature lol), less power consumption efficient, refined and strangely - more powerful.

Cool, efficiency and refined is what I will be going for.

"Red = Hot and Blue = Cold" seems like a really contrived reason for disliking a color scheme in a PC. O_o

Blue/black or blue/White is by far the best as it's just so chill... However I will give credit to tek source and his big red build as that looks sooo good
