Wow yes, though it's not so much the builds that get me - some can look quite nice.

 

The components on the other hand are infuriating - it feels like every major manufacturer does their top tier components in red and black. Motherboards are the worst; not only is there complete oversaturation of red and black but they're also the core of a colour themed build, along with being the hardest to paint.

 

Rant aside, it would be nice to have a little more variety in components, or full black at the least. It's surprisingly hard to find a high end motherboard in full black.

Yes, I don't know why high-end stuff are more likely to be red and black.

yeah I too am getting tired of black and red.

 

black with anything else is fine with me. with just a few exceptions. I especuially love Blues, whites, even yellow isnt too bad

I not really sick of it as it really depends on each build if it will look good. But I wish though they would put more options with regards to colors like rams. Red is the easiest color to match with components because it is more common so maybe that is why a lot of people use that scheme.

Black and red alone is meh.

 

Black, red and gold/bright yellow (referring to Asus Z87/X79 motherboards, Sapphire Toxic coolers, Corsair RM PSUs) are shmexy.

I've been thinking about doing up my wife's computer in a red and black scheme. She uses an amd cpu and amd gfx card. I think it would work well. Mine is black/white with just a splash of red, and my other one is black and Nvidia green

I think customization would be awesome, at least make parts removable so you can spraypaint if you want. 

I wish they made a black version of all parts. Because then at least you can setup a colorschme with your cable sleeving, and LEDs and such. 

 

But having a way to spraypaint parts of your motherboard without masking the whole thing, and risking getting paint where you don't want it. That would defiantly be awesome.

Is it bad that my dream setup only costs a few thousand not counting the obutto?
