They do their best, but as the forum has grown, they have become severely outnumbered.

exactly when the mods are online they do a amazing job, but a lot of times they are not, most mods are US/CA time or Aussie time, when I'm on its very quiet mod wise.

I volunteer for some light mod work, like deleting spam, moving topics, etc...

what i encountered was

Viagra and fashion

I saw the Viagra ones, he spammed my grumpy old man thread to sell me Viagra :angry:

 

Some forums have a manual check that stops people posting until a mod has read the email and first post to verify its not spam. I don't know if that is too much work considering this is a large forum that frequently attracts lots of new members.

Grammar and spelling is not indicative of intelligence/knowledge.  Not having the same opinion does not always mean lack of understanding.

I find it kind of funny.

 

I usually check General Discussion(where most of them post anyway) and report the ones I see. Usually 1-2 reports every 6 hours or so.

I see so many people talking about this. Saying that they keep seeing them. It must just be the times that I'm on. But I'm on every day for at least a few hours and I've still never seen one. The mods must be doing a pretty good job.
