People spouting garbage like it's fact about networking and then try to tell me I don't know what I'm talking about xD

It's one thing if people are just confused or aren't quite right, I'm more than happy to explain things in detail to the best of my ability and knowledge, even I mix things up sometimes and I do this for a living, lol. When you call TCP a triple redundant address system (whatever the hell that means) and throw RFC numbers at me like you're some big shot who pretends they know things, I get irritated -.-

If your son has requested a new "processor" from a company called "AMD", this is genuine cause for alarm. AMD is a third-world based company who make inferior, "knock-off" copies of American processor chips. They use child labor extensively in their third world sweatshops, and they deliberately disable the security features that American processor makers, such as Intel, use to prevent hacking. AMD chips are never sold in stores, and you will most likely be told that you have to order them from internet sites. Do not buy this chip! This is one request that you must refuse your son, if you are to have any hope of raising him well.

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

Bonzi Buddy is a running gag on this show. It's literally spyware that tries to make friends with your kids and become your main search engine. Their old site, no joke, redirects to porn now.

I genuinely feel bad for that person's son. Honestly I really do feel bad for him. He has to deal with closed minded airhead like that on a daily basis, and it must suck. Especially for someone that is intellectually curios like the kid appears to be. Honestly the author sounds like some nut that might go on a tangent about online currency being created by the Illuminati and helps it with its plans to enslave Americans to robots whilst the song I'm proud to be an American plays in the background on a Sunday morning at church or some crap like that. Seriously his statements make about that much sense.

This is golden.

Quake is an online virtual reality used by hackers. It is a popular meeting place and training ground, where they discuss hacking and train in the use of various firearms. Many hackers develop anti-social tendencies due to the use of this virtual world, and it may cause erratic behaviour at home and at school.

If your son is using Quake, you should make hime understand that this is not acceptable to you. You should ensure all the firearms in your house are carefully locked away, and have trigger locksinstalled. You should also bring your concerns to the attention of his school.

So apparently "hime" is a word.

Listen guys, since you play games that have guns that means your going to go on a shooting spree, right? /s

What is with this idiot? Seriously, how can someone be this stupid?

Online games = hacking.

Someone is better at using windows than you. They must be a hacker

They read books? It's because they want to rob your bank account.

They are using Apple laptops? They won't get viruses.

Talk to other people online at all regardless of the reason? Conspiracy and there must be a societal response.

What the hell is this guy on? He sounds like a troll on a bad trip stuck in front of the computer. How much do you want to bet he sat at the computer for longer than 45 minutes to type that blog? Oh he must be DOSing other people according to his own logic.

Your son will probably try to install some hacker software. He may attempt to conceal the presence of the software in some way, but you can usually find any new programs by reading through the programs listed under "Install/Remove Programs" in your control panel. Popular hacker software includes "Comet Cursor", "Bonzi Buddy" and "Flash".

HOLY FUCK this is gold

BSD, Lunix, Debian and Mandrake are all versions of an illegal hacker operation system, invented by a Soviet computer hacker named Linyos Torovoltos, before the Russians lost the Cold War. It is based on a program called " xenix", which was written by Microsoft for the US government. These programs are used by hackers to break into other people's computer systems to steal credit card numbers. They may also be used to break into people's stereos to steal their music, using the "mp3" program. Torovoltos is a notorious hacker, responsible for writing many hacker programs, such as "telnet", which is used by hackers to connect to machines on the internet without using a telephone

LINUX IS EVIL , NO PENGUINS IN MY HOUSE , ONLY REAL BIRDS

also screw MP3 that's all evil , and telnet is the worst , internet is evil and shall be destroyed by jesus

Quote

If you see the word "LILO" during your windows startup (just after you turn the machine on), your son has installed lunix. In order to get rid of it, you will have to send your computer back to the manufacturer, and have them fit a new hard drive. Lunix is extremely dangerous software, and cannot be removed without destroying part of your hard disk surface.

I think I destroyed part of my brain reading this .... jfc
