Youtube does 60fps 4k

GMdavidson

If the video ever loads for me, I will report back.

Other than that, it's just glorious to have 4K 60FPS.

DVD is digital (it's in the name yo), but ... just burn stuff to disk or re-download...

I don't understand you point at all.

NOPE, 8350 can't handle it. 4k 30fps was it's limit. Now usage just maxes out and drops like 80% of the frames. It's a slideshow now. (Another reason why I regret getting this CPU...)

I get 80Mb down and 20Mb up and I was also using HTML5 in Chrome Beta... Your CPU utilization shouldn't be THAT high, mine was only around 20% on 2 or 3 cores. GPU should be able to take most of the load.

For me it plays fantastically well, but audio skips. But I have to use Chrome (of course, blocked on Firefox and IE).

Using Windows 10

It's not blocked. It's just that they don't support the things necessary to play it. You can however enable it in Firefox from about:config (it's media.mediasource.enabled). It is on by default in newer versions of Firefox (like the beta and alpha builds).

I give you my gratitude for sharing the information here. I support the feature, makes me sad I will be unable to use until I can obtain a new computer that can play the quality option. :)

I HAVE seen better textures to be honest though...

Most of what I've seen in the game looks fine until you lick it. I run the game maxed out too.

Most of what makes the game look as good as it does though is all of the lighting.

Absolutely obliterates my i5-4690K.

I don't have a 4K screen anyway, so this doesn't matter to me.

@sof006

You're like the only person to report both no dropped frames and low CPU usage.

Even people with very similar builds are getting 80% cpu utilization.

Just wondering but how much of your 80Mb connection was being used to play that video?

I have a 60Mb connection and it gets maxed out.

The problem with 4k 60 FPS is, my internet can't handle it, it stutters, i can pre buffer and play it easily , but if i remove dash play back, all video formats above 720p will be blocked, so i'm stuck to 1440, that's the best case where my internet loads fast enough to catch up to the video

Cool now I just need a 4K monitor and oh... an internet connection from this century, my 5-6Mbps is probably not enough for that.
