Worst Tech mistake you have ever made?

Mitch

My Lian Li PC V353: Good looks, but pricey, horrible airflow and restricted CPU cooler height.

I owned one of these:
no3650_00.jpg

In my defense even top of the lines S60 devices back then weren't that much better off and it was capable of slowish NES emulation which in 2003 turned a few heads, but yeah...that was certainly an awkward phone to be seen with...

Logitech G400s. I wanted to like that mouse so much and had so much going for it but by design they force you to palm grip it but in a awkward way, They put a ridge on the top that acts as a ring finger rest so your ring finger ends up being beside your right-click  finger and then your pinky finger goes on the right side of the mouse underneath the ridge so it essentially ends up below your ring finger....

wtf... why did your motherboard kill your hard drives? are you sure it was the cause?

TI calculators are so overpriced anyway. Casio masterrace. It's just that TI loves inflating prices because they know 90% of high school and college students are required to have TI-84 calculators etc.. so they charge 150$ for them.

luckily my school allows us to use ti-83+ they go for cheap used

Wireless HDMI. I should've just bought 15 meters of HDMI cable. Would've been a lot cheaper, and probably better quality. :/

My wireless card. This thing doesn't support 5ghz like it says it does, hardly ever connects to my router and when it does it's slow as hell. I had to go buy a usb wireless the day after I built my computer because this thing is just junk. I thought all the reviews would be wrong and I couldn't find another card I liked but boy that was a mistake. I have a 100' cat 5e cable I'm going to run to my router though and no more wireless soon. ;)

MSI Z87 G-43. Awful sound quality along with crashing for no reason I could find. The worst part is that for an extra 10 dollars I got a MSI Z87 G-55 which is WAY better than the G-43. This is what happens when you don't reseach enough.
