Worst Tech mistake you have ever made?

I had very bad luck with linksys stuff the past years, 3 wireless cards and 2 routers dying in less than a week, and they were in different houses, so can't blame it on anything but the devices themselves.  

 

Haven't bought anything from the brand since then, I hope now that they are property of belkin the quality starts to improve.

School computer, Mac, Laptop, have to use it and its slow enough to open websites like google for 10 seconds and not handle youtube videos in HD. It's a pain to even try to save a file.

Student1, Student2 (about 20 down, 10 up), Personal (the one I did the speed test on), and Marysville. Then we have ethernet, with about 30-40 down, 20-30 up (not bad for going through several servers).

If you would be a true techy person you would know that Alt+F4 does the trick.

 

OT :

 

Blackberry , the whole paid subscription BS to use BBM was just soo bad...

Also linux , i've had SO MANY problems with linux .

When I was trying to cut a zip tie for my computer, I used a switchblade to cut it. But when I did the black went straight for my left wrist. Huge cut.

 

This is why I hate cable management.

I think this post is dead, unless you guys have some more awesome stories of mistakes. It's OK. People make mistakes, sometimes, very costly mistakes. Keep on going! This is one of my favorite posts.
