What do you prefer? (build form factors)

Your dream build would be in what kind of case? Do you want the biggest and most beast or do you want something more portable?

It depends really. I love the performance and sheer amount of hardware you can fit in cases like the CaseLabs Magnum SMA8, but I also love the looks of well built, watercooled MATX/ITX builds in Parvum System's cases.

Well I just built one in a Full-Tower, the Enthoo Luxe from Phanteks (phenomenal case), I don't have any need for a small form factor and the flexibility you get for it is amazing.

 

Also, the damn case is a lot more imposing

I prefer standard ATX midi tower cases. I just wish i had enough money to fill it up.

I've technically only built ATX and Micro ATX, but I really really want to build in an ITX case next; I think that would actually be the size I'd prefer over everything else.

I love the 750D and the Air 540. But I'm tired of tower styled cases. Maybe it's time I build a cube. The Air 540 is nice and big for everything, yet more compact than a tower.

I like M-atx because you have room for a few cards because with only one gfx card, how many PCI/-E cards do you need.

Well not as interesting personally. There are many different case options and they're completely different. We're talking about having a Skunkworks type build or a little mITX case with a 295x2. The 295x2 could still offer beast performance, but many people would still prefer a bigger case, even if they don't need anything other than one PCI-E slot and drive bay. 

 

It's so interesting, because you can build a really silent and beast system in a Bitfenix Prodigy, but do you want to?

I am planning SLI 980's under water in a my 350D. Any more than that, and you are just taking up too much damn space
