I prefer mini-ITX cases if I'm going with only 1 GPU or none, micro-ATX cases if I'm going with 2 GPU's, and ATX cases if I'm going with 3 or 4 GPU's. :P

And my prefered cases are, BitFenix Prodigy for mini-ITX, Corsair 350D for micro-ATX, and NZXT H440 for ATX. :P

Small full-size or large mid-sized. Enough room for parts and cables, but small enough to not need to have its own room.

I love compact builds where the case's are only big enough to fit the gear they currently have in them. I hate seeing massive case's with nothing inside.

I've always used mid-full tower cases, I'd love to make a ITX/Matx based system as there have been some really great cases made in that catagory for all different types of aesthetics.

While not-unfeasible to grab a smaller motherboard and chassis, I just can't spend justify spending money on that (considering what I like in ITX is also expensive and gives no real benefit over that I'm using my PC for)

There are great options for full length gpu capable ITX cases and that's sort of where I think I'm be going on my next re-build.

/Small Powerhouse of a Rig on the Desk to WOW-factor the visitors is a nice goal/gimmick.

Something like this Graphite 380T Black & Red M-ITX would suit me perfectly.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

Miditower because it's the middle ground and certain designs can offer different ideas while still being not too big and not too small.

I've got a Zalman Z3 Plus. Comes with 2 120mm fans with space for 3 more. Has a neat GFX card supporting beam to stop sagging. Also boasts a fan speed controller and a tray for stuff on the top.

Basically, miditowers are good all-rounders.
