Home server is a go. Case should show up today. Should have RAM tomorrow. New link cable for my headset. Thumb drives, the AIO is for hotbox, tablet is for a game. New set of fans for my 1070, lots of paste.
The server motherboard is massive as are the CPUs for it. Dual 2699s and a U9DXi4 for each one.

No more money spending for a little while for me I guess. Server is going to borrow the 1070 until I figure out what card I want to put in it.

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

Can you not just remote in from one of your other PCs?

With all the Trolls, Try Hards, Noobs and Weirdos around here you'd think i'd find SOMEWHERE to fit in!

It’s got IPMI on the board. I don’t need to do that. I’m not sure how well the 2699 does in transcoding for plex so it’s a place holder until I see if I need one there.

It’s my “I never want to build a new server again”. It’ll take the NAS/Plex from Oppbevaring. Game servers for friends. Once I move to Norway and I start setting up a house how I want, home automation(that’s how I got the okay to spend the money on it, as long as we have a door bell that can see people), then I’ll use extra cores to jump into Boinc.

The main reason for getting a Steam Controller is to have it as a collectible and to then use with my upcoming Steam Deck for shits and giggles. Also of course using it on my 55" 4K OLED TV will be flipping amazing.

You can take a look at all of the Tech that I own and have owned over the years in my About Me section and on my Profile.

I'm Swiss and my Mother language is Swiss German of course, I speak the Aargauer dialect. If you want to watch a great video about Swiss German which explains the language and outlines the Basics, then click here.

If I could just play Videogames and consume Cool Content all day long for the rest of my life, then that would be sick.

If you need a cheap display out the HD 6450 is like usual $10 USD shipped, probably as cheap there.

Nintendo Switch OLED

I have been wanting a Switch for a while now, and almost bought one but then the OLED model was announced. The OLED model of course has been difficult to buy, but I finally found one new for MSRP. The newest console I have is a PS4, but the Wii is the newest Nintendo system I bought, and I miss some Nintendo exclusives.

Now to buy a screen protector, case, and some games.

Coolermaster V850 hopefully a revised one. This thing is even smaller than I thought it would be and it's dense too. Small enough I can turn it to face the fan toward glass in the case without hurting airflow to it.

I bet it's hackable, probably some low end ARM SOC with a custom ROM. It can probably run some generic Android or Linux on it.

I don't have enough load to turn the fan on to see if it has the bad fan curve or not. LOL
