Luckily my dad had the nylon version with the snap that he didn't need so I used that one.

I like the black, but the straps on the back are too narrow for horizontal carry

When nobody offers anything better than an MP3 as a digital purchase.

And even less legitimate methods of obtaining music don’t offer any better than an MP3.

One option remains:

 

Buy a new old stock CD from 1998 and rip it yourself.

Yeah I have also talked to police officers on how they do it and that was one of there recommendations.

I thought I was fairly settled on the getting the Index, but too many reports on reliability problems really sort of concerned me. I didn't have any issues out of my original Vive, hopefully the new one is the same way.

New set of XDA PBT keycaps for my Filco Majestouch, the off-white color of the new keycaps just about matches the color of the Filco....

Also put some black pudding keycaps on my good old CMStorm keyboard (Cherry MX Green), my incoming 'The Witcher' keycap would look great on this keyboard. I've also ordered some artisan keycaps to replace those special keys on the left (M1 - M5), though I don't expect to replace them anytime soon as I'd be leaving on an extended stay in Canada. Oh yeah, not using the stock wrist rest that came with the keyboard as it has a rubberized coat that has gone a tad gooey and tacky.

Bought a thinkpad X1 nano

I’m selling my P50, I’m gonna miss having a mobile Xeon and Quadro, 64gb of ram, nvme raid, actual i/o and good thermals. But I need a more compact machine in general, and cpu performance to me is vastly more important. Even dropping the 1180g7 to 90% maximum clock speed just to keep thermals under 80c and it’ll wipe the floor with the Xeon e3 1505m v5.

Akko cs purple lavender swtiches, and some matcha green keycaps. Some switches on my keyboard didn't consistently actuate, so I ordered new ones. Also decided to decorate my keyboard a bit.

It’s time to build a new computer for work. My 4790K has been run for so long I wore-out a SATA SSD and cloned that drive. So this install was an upgrade from 8.1 to 10, then cloned and has been used for years.

 

So, new parts for my upgrade:

  • Asrock Z590 Phantom Gaming 4
  • i5 11600K
  • Silicon Power A80 512gb NVMe
  • EVGA BQ 850 semi-modular PSU
  • Cougar MX330-Air case
  • DeepCool 400 V2 cooler

Parts I already had:

  • Corsair LPX 2x8gb 3200MT 
  • GTX 1060 6gb

I built the system already, posted it, and have OS and driver install left, plus all my work-specific software. My plan is to buy more Ram, 2x16gb at least, maybe 2x32gb because I can and it’s conceivable I could approach 32gb and possibly exceeded it in rare circumstances with my workload.

This is not latest purchase but kind of odd.

 

So I bought a 256gig m.2 ssd from a guy for very cheap.

When I got it, it has his operating system on it (win 10).

But it does not end there! It was unlocked and I got access to his whole steam library, discord, browser history, he even had auto login in some online shops.

 

But i did not want to commit fraud, so i just reinstalled the windows lol. 

 

Crazy. I could have gifted his whole steam inventory to me, buy things from shops etc. But im no dick.

Motherboard tier list. Tier A for overclocking 5950x. Tier B for overclocking 5900x, Tier C for overclocking 5800X. Tier D for overclocking 5600X. Tier F for 4/6 core Cpus at stock. Tier E avoid.

(Also case airflow matter or if you are using Downcraft air cooler)
