A finger print scanner that detects the age of a person and integrate them into games consoles or PC's. If you are below the age of 18 then your console will ban you from certain games, if you are older than 18, then you can freely play games such as GTA and any other aged 18 game. I am personally sick of hearing parents blame the game developers or retailer because their 10 year old son is acting violent because he is playing GTA or CoD. Its not the developers fault or retailers, its 100% the parents fault. So that is what I would like to be invented! Get those lazy fat squeakers outside more, instead of killing their relatives due to losing in an aged 18 video game!

Why punish the families that DO allow their child to play those games. We should eliminate ignorance, not stifle "art".

Its not so much punishing families due to their kids playing violent video games, its telling the parents what they're doing is wrong, allowing their kids to play such games with erotic scenes in, drugs, violence, murder and so on. Ofcourse not every kid is going to go out and do that sort of stuff, but IMO a fingerprint scanner would help prevent those that are mentally unstable and unable to see the wrong in the acts video game content shows from acting out upon innocent people just because the fictional game character did it!

Everybody has their own opinion on such topics and I respect that.

There was a statistic that showed that written literature that depicted violent acts caused more violence than video games. Even if they didn't have the ability to access the M rated games, they sure as hell would have no difficulties in picking up a book.

Edit: It was TotalBiscuit that did a videogames and tragedy

I'm aware your intentions are good but your execution is flawed. I'm trying to say this in the most polite way as we are going off topic..

Censorship is a very tricky subject as the research is usually hard to understand, let alone convey to a lobby group who are trying to oppose it on preconceived moral grounds other than with a rational and open minded approach.

For example there is no evidence that links normal every day porn with sexual crime, regardless of what the feminist movement, anti video game movement and any other lobby group want you to think, non-violent porn and sex crime are not linked in anyway.    However there is a link between violent porn (anything that depicts rape or humiliation) and an increased desire to commit a sex crime.

Research proof:

http://plato.stanford.edu/entries/pornography-censorship/#DoePorCauHarOthEmpEvi <- Don't like what it says take it up with Stanford University.

What this means is there is a case for censorship for violent pornography (especially where people with still developing minds are concerned), but no case for adults playing a game that includes non-violent porn.

There are studies into the effects of pornography on developing kids up to and including early teenage years, but due to the nature of the studies the results are somewhat up for debate, having said that I would keep an open mind that it could go either way.

I'm not about to read 5 pages to see if it was mentioned already but long lasting batteries, wireless charging, Better smartphone design (I personally think all Samsung G3,4,5 and HTC M8 are ugly), More failproof computers, More customizable laptops (design?), Unlimited free cloud storage, More capabilities on smartphones, No cables, Some type of cell phone receiver underground so you don't loose connection, faster data speeds (internet and drive read/write speeds); actually make everything solid state, safer that way, etc

Seems like it could do that with some ingenuity. But it's a little overkill for a simple color profile like a mouse has. All I want is a dang led strip with the color profiles of a mioniox and the auto profile select of the death adder D:

Nail on the head right there.   It comes down to trust, but who deserves trust in the corporate world?

A device which could turn any character on your screen into a real life object .just press print screen and watch your favourite video game character come out.requirements would be all the elements of a human body/clothing kinda like alchemy

Might have to be careful though, could lose an arm and a leg.. or need your soul linked to a suit of armor.

Considering they made a cup holder using that drive bay. costs about $25 and it can play dvds as well.

Wearable air conditioner. Sumner's starting and it's hot as f**k.

Start complaining when you have at least 5 days in a row of 40 degrees Celsius and up in a row.

But it can't make toast for those long gaming sessions when you need a little more juice.
