Cheap and blazing fast internet. It's so dissapointing that the storage sizes and speed is increasing, better quality images and videos, bigger game sizes but still ridiculous 2MB/s internet speed, and evil ISPs overcharging it. The internet connection is currently the most un-improved and disspointing technology.

A finger print scanner that detects the age of a person and integrate them into games consoles or PC's. If you are below the age of 18 then your console will ban you from certain games, if you are older than 18, then you can freely play games such as GTA and any other aged 18 game. I am personally sick of hearing parents blame the game developers or retailer because their 10 year old son is acting violent because he is playing GTA or CoD. Its not the developers fault or retailers, its 100% the parents fault. So that is what I would like to be invented! Get those lazy fat squeakers outside more, instead of killing their relatives due to losing in an aged 18 video game!

I have a huge list of super futuristic/unrealistic tech that I would want invented .... like Mechs/Labours/Gundams (what ever u call them), proper space travel, floating/sky/subterranean/oceanic cities, clean unlimited energy, natural balance with the natural world (likely through colonising other planets and terraforming and/or population control, etc etc.

 

However on a more realistic scale and relevant to PC technology.

 

The perfect VDU. 4k or even 8k HD, As close to perfect colour accuracy, instant response times, 0 ghosting/blurring, 120hz+, superb viewing angles. in a full range of sizes and ratios, for me I would like a 39"-42" 21:9 (2160p minimum vertical res), Gysnc and freesync capable, vesa mount etc etc.

AND

Balanced input technology. In other words, at the same time as the above, the technology in PC's must be able to produce visual quality and frame rates to match the specs of the VDU without requiring multiple GPU's.

 

Basically I want "tomorrows" technology "today"

I think what we need now is a new breakthrough in battery technology. That'd change the world, and I don't mean just for phones. Smaller better cheaper more durable batteries in electric cars is what the world needs.
