Is pc hardware expensive where you live?

Hei, Hatsune here and I wonder is pc hardware expensive where you live? Where I live for the moment (Sweden) most computer componets seem to skyrocket from the regular 1 dollar = 6.6 sek to 1 dollar = 9 sek which is insane...
So is it expensive where you live? And if so please post where you are from :3

I prefer that instead of looking at the profile info box thing. Thanks

Yes computer components are expensive where i live. I live in southern Ontario, Canada. Computer parts are a lot more expensive here than they are in places like the United States.

Comparison:

American Site: EVGA GTX 780 ACX $519.99 USD = $562.08 CDN http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130918

Canadian Site: EVGA GTX 780 ACX $609.99 CDN = $562.33 USD http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130918

Compared price to price, yes PC hardware is expensive where I live, compared to the US.

But if you take the high Danish wages into account the prices become pretty much the same.

Edit: I'm from Denmark if anyone was wondering.

Here in Australia parts get markep up by heaps, for example, the 295X2, which launched at $1499 in the US, launched at $1949 here, a bit of a markup.

I think it is expensive in any country if you compare it to the US. Here in austria PC parts are about 20% more expensive.

Compared to elsewhere, prices would be consider above average. Specially compared to the US, maybe EU countries in general. 25% VAT on electronics adds a fair amount to the price.

I'm not going to complain, though. I'm willing to pay a fair amount of tax for all the benefits it brings.

You are right^^
