Is pc hardware expensive where you live?

In Italy components are a bit more expensive than in the us for the whole 1euro=1$ bs, but they are still acceptable. Personally I don't care because my uncle is a hardware vendor ^^ got my r9 290 for 300 euros

Yep. Even more with the city I live in. We only have one place that sells real computer hardware and they mark up the price a bit themselves. I can drive 2 hrs to a memory express though and they'll price match ncix. Last time I was at the store here cause I wanted a specific mouse that best buy no longer had, $430 for a 4770k, $500 for a GTX 770 and $250+ for mobo's that are $180 area.

Also very few stores carry a decent selection, I often have to hunt down several places to even get a half decent case because they like jumping from 20 bucks garbage to 400 bucks overkill monster cases, it's like they don't know what the fuck "middle ground" means here, also frustrating for GPUs (You don't want a 610? Then buy this 780ti!)
