1000w Cougar CMX ex mining rig psu died powering the V56 and ryzen 1700 folding in my daughter's pc.  Up and running again now with a spare 500w EVGA that will most likely die as well unless I keep the gpu in power saving mode.

Back when it came out i may have been working for dell at the time and really wanted one…But it had the same HW as most other laptops of the time but was a for the time a gorgeous  20” LCD pannel and Almost Bulletproof.  (What brought it up was i used a picture of it to describe what it would take for Nvidia to be able to make a 4090M GPU as its the biggest Laptop i know of)

Just as a heads up, next wednesday, there will likely only be a blog post the day after, it is my 6 month streaming every day in a row celebration and I'm looking to do a long stream, so likely not be available

Please stop apologising. This is not the end of the world. You have a life and things to do and this here is a service we enjoy because you like to do it. In short: We wait for it as long as we need to.

I'm british, we say sorry almost as much as the canadians. 

 

But you also need to make sure to say thank you to @cbigfootwho does a lot of the validating for the events.

You can say sorry as much as you want, but i think in this case its just not neccesary. You had a reaaaally good reason for postponig something that is fun, but not that important. But OK, i might see it that way because i am german.

 

Although folding is not free for me... crying a little while i know the power meter spins quite fast (yes, we still have an electromechanical one).

Yes and i could ask you the same, if you live in britain, we are only one hour apart. Besides that, my internal clock i a couple of hours late to most of the people around me. But at least this gives me some quite hours at the end of the day.

 

And i live in an area and work in a profession where this is quite normal.

For no real reason I decided to overclock one of my folding GPUs. After a couple minutes in Afterburner my GT 1030 is now drawing 31W instead of 30W. I hope I don't notice too much of an increase on my power bill...

 

In all seriousness though, I've got the core clock raised by 246MHz and the memory clock raised by 572MHz. The power draw barely changed, and so far the temperature hasn't changed either. Now I'll just have to wait and see what it does for my PPD.

power flicker so lost 5 wu... then doing a bit of napkin math. gotten a ton of long and low point wu. normal i do way better with my folding stats.

also dealing with yet another hurricane.
