that's crazy. here (Western Europe) the 5600X is still available for MSRP in different stores. wonder how many minutes that will still last.

I accidentally opened UK Ebay for this (im from the U.S) But this is crazy. This was the one thing i was worried about when Zen 3 was launching :(

5600X is still available though, it's only the R7 and R9 that went out of stock instantly on everywhere but AMD site which crashed

It'll be interesting to see how this goes. Past Ryzen CPU launches didn't see too bad a stock situation at launch, only with Zen 2 did the higher models remain in constraint for a while. At one UK store I see 5800X still plentiful, but no go above that. So a possible repeat there? Another UK store seems to only be offering the new CPUs if bought as a bundle with a mobo.

Fyi many stores still have stock and sell at msrp in europe. Don't buy your new CPUs on ebay ffs. Even if you're in the UK you can still buy from most german stores for example.

Just another heads-up people: I find plenty of stock for german webshops. But beware, some are marking them up for 50-70€. If you find one listed above MSRP, just buy it from another one.

 

For example Caseking.de is marking up.

Mindfactory.de is selling at MSRP.

In india we don't need scalpers, the government already has high tariffs and custom duties (they are planning to increase them by upto 50 percent), so that we always get Scalper prices. Nothing new here

Not going to lie, with BS like this, stadia is looking more appealing then ever. At least all I need to wait for is a software update. It's just too bad the games I play I can't utilize stadia.

You still need an xbox don't you? Or a computer? I don't need either for stadia, as long as I have the stadia controller and a phone which I have. But then again you could use a shit computer that runs the latest chrome and a keyboard/mouse or a controller. Don't need to worry about CPUs, GPUs, RAM etc. Maybe if eBay wouldn't allow "new" items to go on their site for a month or two it wouldn't be so bad.

Well right now, I had a conversation with my parents about getting a new pc, as the old shitty laptop sucks. And I calculated that if I get my CPU + Motherboard + RAM + SSD from Newegg (that includes VAT) and GPU + PSU + Case from amazon India or local online retailers than it is going to save me like 145-150 USD
On one side the government says that they want DIGITAL INDIA, on the other side they are making it harder for people to get access to computers.

Seriously, like i have a 3700x right now in a X570 MB, now way in hell i'd pay more than MSRP for something like this.

I honestly don't know why people would buy them at scalper prices. Just hold squat and chill stores will get stock eventually and if people stop buying from scalper prices they will stop grabbing all the stock and selling at 200% price.

Even if i still had my old FX series running, (my mom is rolling with that till i upgrade again) i would not pay extra for something that'll work its way back into stock. I'll love to get a 5900x in my system and i'll throw in a 6800xt once those become available at MSRP. but damn just relax, have a pint, and wait for a bit.
