Amtrak only owns 600 miles of track which is why they can do higher speeds on the east coast. The rest of it is owned my the freight rail companies and even if the tracks could do high speeds, Amtrak will he slowed down or stopped by lower speed freight trains. 
 

Funny enough I took the Amtrak out to Colorado on Friday. While they did do decent speeds, we did have times we had to slow down or completely stop due to freight traffic. In fact we were 30 minutes late pulling in to Chicago and about an hour late pulling in to Denver.

Also a fair point.  Also let's be real, even if BNSF and Canadian Pacific did hold up their end of the deal, they wouldn't actually utilize high speeds, or if they even could. 

 

 

I've ridden trains (at least in the US) in Denver, New York, and Minneapolis St Paul, and I'd argue their systems, while not perfect, are decently well set up.

More or less the same here, I don't mess with people passing me on single lane roads, it's double or triple lane when I'm in the right lane going speed limit and they want to ride my ass that I'll do the slow game or in residential areas so yeah I guess on some single lane streets but come on man, you don't need to tear down the street past houses at 50mph in a 20mph zone with literally children running in the street. Fuck you buddy, I may not like children but I don't want to see any die.

Buying something labelled PCMR is cringe. Selling it doubly so. It signals to me two things:

1. you didn't do your research to understand where that term originated from and that it actually makes fun of PC elitists.
2. you have no qualms using right-wing extremist rhetoric.

Regarding that second one, your knee-jerk reaction might be "but it's just a joke". To which I say, sure thing buddy, until it isn't. Because people who actually use that rhetoric sincerely don't see your use of it as "ironic", they just see increased acceptance of such beliefs and feel emboldened to act on those beliefs, if they see enough "ironic" support.

Depends on what you are doing. I find for messaging, email, online banking and ordering stuff online I do that mostly thru my phone. If Im surfing the net, watching content or gaming I prefer my MacBook or Gaming PC.

Microcenter is over hyped. I mean they do have specialty things that you generally can only find online. But not worth shopping there vs online at least in my experience. Visited the one in Denver for context.

Nah, it’s their bundles for me, they come in clutch when building a new system.  Sometimes their sales are decent too that it makes it worth to go to one over waiting for the mail for certain things.

Really simple+ rarer, here in India imported cars or sportscars aren't common, but there's a lot of Supras and celicas and skylines and evos and subarus and even a few rx7s but only like 2 NSX with only 1 in running condition, I saw it irl and my friend who's a "bigger car guy" than me didn't even know what that was, while another one of my friend said that's infernus from GTA San Andreas
