I have a lot of shortcuts to software I can't fit on my taskbar and websites like Netflix, YouTube and stock video websites.

Should I keep it? Those who have followed me long enough would recognize this image, but damn the quality is just not there to look good at 1440P. The jagged lines are real.

Here's mine. Not much on the desktop since I've found the start menu (most custom icons made by me) to be way more effective. I use classic shell + RoundedTB for the taskbar.

Not really, it's just more useful to have all the apps I need on one window without scrolling instead of having to go to the desktop. For the icons, some apps had full icons and some didn't and it really just bugged my OCD brain. I never hated Windows 8's design though, but I wouldn't want to use it every day.

That looks amazing. I also decided to change the lock screen background as my desktop background so it looks like a seamless transition between both screens, almost.
