PITTSBURGH – University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine scientists today announced a potential vaccine against SARS-CoV-2, the new coronavirus causing the COVID-19 pandemic. When tested in mice, the vaccine, delivered through a fingertip-sized patch, produces antibodies specific to SARS-CoV-2 at quantities thought to be sufficient for neutralizing the virus.

There has been 3 or 4 vaccines made so far, but human trials take months, even years on some situations

got a WU for my GPU but:

 

18:45:59:ERROR:WU00:FS01:Failed to start core: OpenCL device matching slot 1 not found, try setting 'opencl-index' manually

 

What does it mean?

Put the work PC on the LTT team today under my username. The Turks Pro card can't fold sadly, no double precision.

 

I took my 2700X out to see if I can narrow down some random lockups I'm having. I'll see what's going on when I get home tonight.

If it says something along the lines of "connecting to 192.0.2.1 and don´t respond" is because that card is not supported

Just set up my 3rd and 4th VMs on Google cloud, all with Tesla P100s all folding at something like 1.7 million ppd.

 

Do I have a problem?

Daaang.  Got myself an absolute unit of a WU here with a 11+ hr time frame 9% into it. 6/16 of my 3700x and most jobs have taken ~4 or less.

I feel like that's supposed to be a small GPU WU, not a yuge CPU unit, but that's just me.

Possibly, had some driver funk too so I'm DDUing and reinstalling but I dont think HD 7570 is supported.

 

Checked the logs and it's something about opencl.
