I get the idea of  points. But do 10 days mean 240hrs or just 10 days log in at folding?

Well, I did adjust the power settings of my GPU's
The 1080TI is underclocked in memory and gpu clock, running at 60% power/70°C temp target and 45% fans.
The 1070 is at stock but at 70% power/70°C temp target and 40% fans.

Web Control predicts around 700k PPD for the 1080TI and 600k for the 1070, so that's looking good.

I'm at about 68C on my GTX1050 OC card, though it used to be 71C. now I just put like a desk fan to blow directly onto the chassis cause the CPU gets preeetty toasty when it's working, even at only 2 cores (Highest peak used to be 96C, after the desk fan it's about uh 89-90C now)

With that said, good luck to all of the existing and new folders! Let's make this happen. Oh right, I'm one of the new folders just a couple of days ago actually.

Im going to let it ride.  Interested to see how the hardware holds up cranking out WU's for a couple weeks.  I did take the OC off my CPU and put it back to base, as the OC gets a bit hot and a little noisy, whereas with base settings its barely a bother (also it barely gets many points anyways!).  GPU doesnt actually seem that loud honestly.

My work system on the other hand...I have def decided to put a DRP on the CPU (replacing wraith cooler) and will probably not do FE cards again.  I actually love the way FE cards look and was a good deal, but man it is hotter and louder than the strix any time it runs.

Greetings all,

just set up F@H on my 2600 and GTX 1070 machine. Going to try and have it set up on my unraid machine either tonight or tomorrow. Currently set to fold at idle, but my machine locks after a few minutes. It will fold while locked correct or should I disable that?

thanks in advance.

Man I am definitely seeing the benefit of pausing and restarting folding if you are "stalled".  Almost every time I come back and my CPU isnt doing something, if I pause and resume, it gets a WU

RIP my work PC that is sitting there in 2 hour refresh queues because no one is there to pause and restart!
