Still folding for the team!

The timezone the event goes by was announced in the post for the event, so no dice there.

Same since I just got home from work. Regardless I'm gonna try helping out as well!

Edit: Just realized because my computer is a tad outdated it doesn't even make that much contribution in the grand scheme of things. I'm now unsure if it is worth it for me to still do it.

@GOTSpectrum Will WU's that are in progress currently count toward the event or will only new units forward after the events start count?

I am new to these events, so how do the points begin calculating?
Any new units after the event begins or any points at all gained after start regardless of if started prior to event?

Anyone?

edit : it's weird that my firepro is getting wrongly reported, even GPUz see it as a m5100

Don't worry about the what the GPU is detected as. The lower end FirePros are just binned consumer chips so it just means it's recognized the chip. My w4100 shows up under the chip name.

Man, since getting my 2060S card I've been nothing but annoyed!

1. First, Doom Eternal prioritises the damn card over my Titan V, unless I set the OpenGL renderer to the Titan in the Control Panel.

2. Then I ran into the most bizzare bug ever, my mouse would randomly stop, and reconnect; and either the Macro'd keys would not work, OR I couldn't click anywhere except in the last Window I worked in. I tried newer drivers, clean installs, even tried a different mouse thinking it was dying.
NOPE! It was because the one of my monitors was plugged into the 2060S HDMI....the hell is that about? Some weird USBC conflict with it maybe?

3. The worst, the ABSOLUTE WORST however, is that it's not getting enough work units.

N.B: When it does get a WU though,I can game without issue; not that Doom Eternal at 60fps while folding is bad mind you; but I didn't get a high refresh monitor for nothing.

Tell me @GOTSpectrum how in the blazes do you keep your sanity with such a mixed bad of GPUs in your system? I've only ever had multiples of the same until recently.

Edit: Oh praise the the chaos lords, they finally blessed me with multiple WUs!

im running beta on everything and my cpu and rx480 tend to get covid19 wu's, havent seen a covid19 wu on the 2080 for a while now, everyones taking all the good ones lol

But at least running the betas its usually keeping 2 of the 3 busy at all times rather than sitting idle all day.  wish they would change the way the system searches for new wu's, after so many tries it gets to the point that its not checking for several hours in which time a batch may have been released and already gobbled up before your machine even tries to check again
