I love dogs, but they come with the inherent problem of being a pretty high-maintenance pet. For a single or even a two person household working normal full-time jobs, it's really tough to manage having one. That being said, I'd still prefer having a dog over a cat, I just feel like they're giving you back more than a cat typically would.

In the past I would have said dogs, but after I moved and ended up living with cats I changed my mind to cats, then later we got a dog and would still says cats, but now after having to deal with a cat that  has been sick and shitting all over the place I am now of the opinion of neither

it's depends on the person lifestyle - if you're more a calm human, then I guess cats suits better, if you're like loud, movement and outdoors activities - then dogs is your best friends ?

But that's part of the fun!  I haven't had scratch-free hands for ... forever basically.  By the time a scratch heals, I'll have another one somewhere else on my hand.  Most of the time I don't even notice it anymore when I get scratched.  I only notice it afterwards. 

 

 

It makes it real easy for people to see that I am a cat person.  Likewise, I can often tell by looking at other people's hands too.
