Recent results have made it abundantly clear that British no longer are the authority on pudding.

Please, why you so small minded? Pudding is very broad.

Comb it with a brick

Both 1 (at least the second, the first one looks like a mix of mousse and ice cream) and 2 would be considered pudding here.

Cheers,

The first looks like frozen custard, so that's solved..

The second looks like pudding..

The Third looks like eww... sausage?

Well, pudding is bouncy, floppy and kind of air-filled...

The 2nd one is dessert, toetje in Dutch - liquid and delicious.

Third one is cake. The cake is a lie

So many things I could write here... things like this.

UK not for their savory, but for their bread and butter pudding. An intelligently delicious way of not letting scraps go to waist :)

what... pannacotta doens't even taste anywhere near the same.. I believe the French word for pudding "flan" is what they use in the US to describe what I call pudding.

BTW are you guys freaking kidding me? Netherlands is the least popular choice? A piece of haggis is pudding to you?

Well why do you think I made it a public poll in the first place.

I have no idea, to me they are all pudding except for haggis and kugel.

Haggis should NOT be considered a pudding..

It's not bad though. Tastes like spicy meatloaf.

I'd call option 1 & 2 pudding. But I'm Swedish and usually don't eat pudding.

I kind of have to agree, to me it's more like a ghetto pasty. (Sorry @ixi_your_face, your Q&A response earlier was hilarious though)
