Dell G15 Ryzen Edition, 101C CPU temps with G Key engaged?!

Is this the intended function? A lot of the Dell G series has a key that will boost clocks and turn the fans up to max, mine is no exception but I like to watch stats while I play and I noticed something very interesting. When I am not using the G mode it runs like normal, CPU gets hot but the max I've seen is like 94-95C which for a dell laptop isn't that strange. The problem is when I engage the G mode, fans ramp up and the frequency climbs but so does the temp. Its seems like it climbs up to 101C and stays there and just gives as much boost as it can while staying at 101C. Its not throttling below stock or anything it is boosting the whole time but it seems like a very bad design choice on Dells side to do that. Is this just my unit or is it really a design choice? To me it looks like the latter since the system is boosting as much as it can still in that mode and locking at 101C.

That's..... understandable. I just never trust something someone didn't have to actively type (or paste)
Okay, cool. Question: is there a problem you have with this? It seems like a design choice

Mainly that 101C is a bit... Well high. I've never seen a laptop target 101C as a thermal limit. Especially since the chips rated TJmax is 105C.

Seems to be pretty common with the G15, from what I can find in other places online. Seems to suggest this is "normal" for that laptop.

I'll keep an eye out for any solutions people have found.
