Just came home from work and it was stuck downloading on my 1080 ti's. Just did a restart and one of them started right up.  The other is just sitting there.

After installation, you can set up your config.xml (should be in /etc/fahclient) and then run the client with 'FAHClient'.

 

EDIT: I would recommend running the client in screen or tmux, though. So it doesn't exit when you close the SSH session.

I know this isn't exclusively command line only but has a lot of useful stuff and @Gorgon I believe just uses ssh to connect to his machines so definitely a good resource.

It's crazy to think that I'm going to blow past my pevious folding score of about 400k in less than a day.  That was made at least a decade ago using the PS3 and my gaming rig of the day.  Now my current GPU alone is going to smash their weeks worth of combined score in a day.

It was looking kind of empty with a RTX2060 Super in it so I might have done some shopping. Also has a cheapo 120mm AIO on the 2700X now. I'll take some more photos on the weekend when I'm doing the final maintenance. It got a little warm last weekend and I started getting emails from the FreeNAS box that sits above it that the SMART temps on the HDDs were hitting 45C ?

is there a way to schedule running FAH? I have a roommate (college dorm) so I dont want it running when he and I are trying to sleep. my laptop gets kinda loud. I want it to stop at night and continue during the day. 

 

I know its counter intuitive to stop it when it can do the most work, but I dont want to interrupt my sleep.

can't you just tell it to stop folding before you sleep and turn it back on after waking up?

Is anyone aware of significant changes to the PPD you can expect between now and say, a year or two ago?  I'm getting predictions in excess of 600k on my Fury when I know for certain that in the past I would have expected 300 - 450k, and never as much as 500 or more.

If you've just started on the WU it might not be accurate, usually takes a few folds to correct itself.
Which WU (Project) are you on?
CPU folding as well or just GPU?

GPU only, it's about 50% done, "FahCore 0x21"

edit: project 14226 (I think?  Never paid much attention to that before)
