Full set of Ryzen 3600 benchmarks posted in review.

The single core bench seems very promising. However given that the reviewers said they had memory issues and also couldn't overclock at all. It probably could do even better once proper BIOS, motherboards and etc are available.

Early beta BIOS. I wouldn't be at all surprised if this even crops up in some reviews released when the embargo is up. It all depends on which companies are ready for launch and which ones aren't.

Lol, this is a 4.2GHz mid range chip. Being faster than 2700X and almost catching up 9900X is brilliant. Imagine 3900X or 3950X that run up to 4.7GHz. Those will be at least as fast as 9900X in most cases if not better. 9900X is a 5GHz chip mind you! Things are looking good and looking pretty much like it was promised during reveal which is nice to see.

Now I'm just wondering how this will do at 4.6ghz along with tuned memory. I've gotten my 1600 to score 1400 in r15, but that's with a non stable 4.15ghz. Seems to be exactly as AMD described it though, around a 14% ipc improvement along with a good clock increase, now I want to see memory tuning results since AMD said that 3733 cl17 (1.35v) can be easily had.

8086k Winner BABY!!

For that SKU it's looking very good. This may as well be one of the most popular chips in the lineup for mainstream.

Usually the most budget friendly and price to performance ryzen 5 is.  1600 and 2600 were probably the most popular for their generations.  1600 is still popular due to it being like 110 usd.  I'd imagine the 3600 will sell the best for zen 2.  I'm eyeing the 3700x and the 3800x, but I feel like the 3800x is going to be as pointless as the 1800x.  Still waiting for benches on that.

Mmmm. More useful for OEMs since the heat generation at x voltage is likely to be better. Well, unless the 3600X and 3800X skus also get binned IO chips. In which case you may be able to get tighter timings at a given voltage and speed on the CPU.

Yeah, also I'm looking at 3800X too, excited to see benchmarks indeed.

And yet if it was Intel who did this claim no one would probably make a peep.

Anyhow I am waiting for benchmarks but i can still see this as a great upgrade for us on first gen Ryzen, regardless of the final end result.

Last time Intel released questionable performance figures for one of their products this whole forum blew up.  I don't recall a single post that didn't contest that the results were not independent and required further qualification.

To be fair it went over my head, thought it was one of those mountain buried bomb proof server rooms and they where going "Screw this i'm taking cover before the thread explodes". Instead it's just plain old simple salt.

Rumor has it, PC Budget Solutions is going to benchmark the 3600x vs the 9600k and and the 3900x vs the 9900k.  Cannot confirm or deny it yet.

As of Ryzen I have become an AMD fanboy. My stance may change based on future occurrences, however, as of now I will remain an AMD fanboy. Now, as an AMD fanboy I cannot allow myself to be drawn in by the tasty rumors and "leaks" I will have to see these tested by reputable sources using a standardized method. Because basically, all I see when I look at an article like this is

You're doing it wrong, as a fan boy you should be drawn in only by results that confirm your bias.  The source doesn't matter.
