Trying out a couple mounts for the GoPro Session4 I picked used cheaply recently, clipped to the top of the harness it tips to the side but under the chin seems to work pretty well.

Glad to see it's not only Dink that takes a vested interest in all the packages that come to the house. She doesn't get to go to town on them though, not all the time anyways... she'll mostly come over top me and keep poking whatever it is with her nose while I'm trying to unwrap it 🤣

 

She does get to occasionally rip the crap out of something, but we discourage it in general cos she'd do it to everything if she were allowed.

 

RIP (ripped into pieces) :-

 

garden hose (literally chewed a big chunk out of it in about 5 seconds flat)

brand new leather football (soccerball to USA peeps)

one of her beds we bought her

countless toys and stuffed toys (rubber balls, tennis balls, so called tough toys too)

shoes - she loves shoes, but luckily she'll only go after them now if we let her, not get guests shoes or whatever, lol

 

I make it sound like she's a monster, but she's actually pretty good. She will leave things alone if you tell her a few times. I have a door stop that looks like a teddy bear, she wanted him very  much, a few days of telling her no if she picked him up and carried him to the couch to start chewing, and she now gives him glances and an occasional lick, but will otherwise leave him alone, even if we're not in the room.

She's allowed the run of the house now most of the time, it's only been 3 weeks or so, and she's gettting used to what she can climb on, lick etc, and what she can't touch. Most of the time she'll lay with me (or more specifically ON me, and lick my face, head, arms while I'm trying to watch TV - she loves getting her head in the way, thinks that's a great game 🙄

We've (she) bought a backpack for our stumpy bad knee dog so he can enjoy long hikes with us this summer. We've taken him around the neighbor hood a little bit under the cover of darkness, I'm not sure enjoy is the right term. Because of his unusual dimensions (rotund but short) we (she) got a large but he's more a medium in length. We need to make a riser for him so he's not sunken down so low into it. Then maybe he'll 'enjoy' it. In the mean time it looks like Luke with Yoda on his back...

It really has. If I hadn't watched him grow up, I'd be hard pressed to say it's the same dog.
