You have 1 job...

What the horse considers play, the monkey considers business...

But to Tom, it's all foolery.

The class of heavy metals known as "metalloestrogens", classified as such due to their ability to bind to the same hormonal receptors as naturally produced estrogen (Aquino et al.), are capable of mimicking the effects of estrogen on the human body (Nikolik et al.). Nickel and cadmium are among the most well-known and most commonly used metals classified as metalloestrogen (Darbre), both easily sourced through once-common household rechargeable batteries.

Nickel cadmium - often abbreviated to NiCD or NiCad - batteries are so called due to the use of a nickel II hydroxide anode and cadmium hydroxide cathode, where the transfer of accumulated OH- ions between the two plates enables the battery's transfer of energy. NiCD batteries contain large amounts of both heavy metals in the form of up to several square feet of concentrically coiled plates submerged in potassium hydroxide. Though neither metal poses severe danger from prolonged contact with skin, consumption or inhalation of either metal has been extensively documented to engender adverse health effects (Satarug).

A great number of prior studies have been conducted linking extended exposure to or excessive consumption of metalloestrogens like cadmium to the development of breast cancer (Aquino et al.) - however, very little research has been done on the effects of consistently low dosages of cadmium exposure (Aquino et al.). Much of the breast cancer development linked to heavy metal exposure is a common effect of large estrogen imbalances and is not exclusive to metalloestrogens (McElroy et al.). Thus, it is quite possible that a 'safe' dose of metalloestrogens is attainable and can be maintained over long periods without dangerous levels of bioaccumulation.

Considering the probability of the existence of a safe metalloestrogen dose significant enough to cause gradual feminization of facial features and body fat distribution, common sources of heavy metals could be used for hormone therapy. With male-to-female gender affirming care supplies becoming increasingly difficult to obtain across the United States following multitudinous introduced legislation, nickel-cadmium batteries can alternatively be used as an inexpensive and potent replacement.

I won't lie. This Christmas sucked.

My sisters dog Apollo was visiting for the holidays. Threw up blood Christmas eve and was brought to the emergency vet. Was diagnosed with Lyme disease that had likely been dormant for over two years and caused kidney failure. We had to put him down two days later as the treatments were not taking effect.

We miss him a lot.

Ahh man, that's terrible... my sympathy for your loss.

Only thing I can say is that to me he looked like he had a great life from your stories and pictures of him... try to remember that, and that he was happy. That's what got me through losing Henry nearly 3 years ago. It's very hard to lose someone you love, and some people don't want to replace them as they remember the loss... but think about it a different way, by getting another companion you are making their lives better and giving each other joy.

I know it's early days and the loss is too much right now, but it will get better. You'll still miss him, but remembering the good times helps so much.

Wendel does this everytime I come home.  Doesn't matter if I'm gone for 5 minutes to the post office or 3-4 hours coming back from the city.  He sits on the foot stool in front of my computer chair shaking and waiting for me to sit down.  Before my ass touches the seat he's jumped on me.  LOL  He's nibbles on my nose, head butts me and it doesn't stop for 2-3 minutes.

I have to say it feels good coming home to someone who is excited to see you.  🙂

@TVwazhere So sorry for your loss of Apollo, it's probably even worse because it started on Christams Eve.

To cheer you and everyone else up it's time to look at cute pictures and videos of my doggos:

They're now both on my Brothers bed because they hate the New Years Fireworks.

We filmed slomos of them catching dog treats:

You can take a look at all of the Tech that I own and have owned over the years in my About Me section and on my Profile.

I'm Swiss and my Mother language is Swiss German of course, I speak the Aargauer dialect. If you want to watch a great video about Swiss German which explains the language and outlines the Basics, then click here.

If I could just play Videogames and consume Cool Content all day long for the rest of my life, then that would be sick.

This is how Jessie let's my Brother know that she's at the Door and wants to get in asap:

Her nickname is Mini which I don't think I've mentioned before, my Brother prefers to call her that and she does respond to it sometimes even better than Jessie.
