epic_ziver_D

I kinda hope with S.Korea pulling out the market will atleast kill mining not trade just mining but I have y doubts because if one is popular then they need the other

but this is just ridiculous atm

like you could buy a fuking car or pay like a months or 2 worth of rent for that much ( if you have no room mates also paying )

It will likely take months, don't hope the ban will fix much. The cryptocoin market changes stupidly quick so it's possible that the real impact of a ban won't be much if it does eventually end up existing. I really hope something will be done tho. I mean for me it doesn't matter, i have an rx 480 but still, it hurts me seeing how broken it all is.

I mean the only thing that caused a lot of people bailing out and ditching bitcoin mining with gpu's is ASIC miners, that won't happen this time.

It's a damn good scam i want to be a part of then! A friend of mine invested 1500 euro mid-december and is right now at 4500 euro, it's probably less now with the crash a few hours ago but still, he still has a nice profit if he cashes out right now.

If you want my attention, quote meh! D: or just stick an @samcool55 in your post :3

I personally invested in Dogecoin (stupidly at double the price it is now), however even at $33USD worth it only cost me $20 CAD to get.

Also when will people finally realize BTC isn't the driving factor on GPU pricing... It's the driving factor on pricing of the other currencies but not the cards themselves. Currently at the price of my card in USD market is $890 (holy sh*t, I only paid $700 CAD max), my card will still break even in 223 days +-, so mining even on a 1070 is still profitable. When will it no longer be profitable? If cards hit more than what miners could make yearly, then i would deem buying new cards unprofitable, however that still wont stop the currencies and current miners which will then drive up the coins value starting the cycle all over again...

actually what ever happened to those promised mining specific gpus with no video out?

A lot of cryptocurrencies are not scams, Dogecoin is one Ether is another. the issue is the massive variable market value against the USD. If it was to actually stabilize then it could be seen as a different means of payment.

That is why authorities most attack their underlying infrastructure instead... 9_9

They exist, or, existed. I only ever saw one UK seller have them in stock. Probably too specialist to see in retail operations. They're probably more targeted at those building a large farm, not someone who wants a handful to play with.

>High end GPU prices skyrocketing

>Looks at the budget and used ends

>Relaxes when GT 1030’s rose only 4 dollars

Not gonna lie now is a great time to go used. Although it still sucks that new is so overly expensive.

Who needs fancy graphics and high resolutions when you can get a 60 FPS frame rate on iGPUs?

Basically every coin has dropped in value.

Ethereum has dropped now to $1100 after peaking at 1400 in Jan 10 and Jan 14. Bitcoin is on the way down as well. This may be related to Brazil banning blockchain currency from Brazilian Investor Portfolios.

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

Asus makes them (In LTTs second mining adventure video they used some), but anyone who want to resell later want to video out so people will rebuy.

new GTX 1070 price = old GTX 1070Ti price.

GTX 1080 got a price jump too...

I think more and more people will wait for next gen then decide what kind of GPU they are gonna buy..

If it is not broken, let's fix till it is.

I'm hoping that the banning of bitcoin from exchanges worldwide will cause the final crash that has been needed since the original bitcoin craze of 2013, bitcoin (and other cryptos as well) have almost never been used for legitimate purposes anyways, so I don't know why it has had this kind of longevity.

Because although crypto isn't great as a currency but it is great for storing value.
