Probably same as my PC, medium preset at 30fps. I can unlock it to 60fps but then it stutters, probably due to the 100% usage on one of my i5s cores as opposed to the 50% on the other 3

Just reporting in to confirm that neither SLI or crossfire profiles work with FH3 even with the updated drivers. My FX8350 / stock R9 290 can manage 1080p30 on high fairly well, but I encounter the same stuttering as in FM6:Apex when it comes to something physics-heavy like high speed collisions.

 

That being said, I am having a damn good time.

I just bought Automobilista + season pass as it's on sale right now on steam. Needless to say, won't be buying FH3 any time soon and don't expect it to go on sale anytime soon either. With the prices M$ is charging for FH3, I have little interest, even though the game does look very good.

highly doubt MS will distribute forza to other clients like Steam. after all it's a flagship series for microsoft. and UWP-exclusive games rarely go on sale, as far as i know

RFactor2 is under new ownership now as well.  They plan on revamping a few things wrt the engine and future content, and are looking to the community for ideas.  Definitely keep an eye out on this one as well.

Im not normally a Forza guy, but man these Showcase events are really cool. Where else do you get to race a trophy truck against power boats??

30 fps eh? i set it 30 fps too, after i witnessed how much it stuttered in a race 

 

and nice rolls. so far my rolls have been 2,000-10,000 CR  my RNG is so bad

Yeah... a single 290 struggles to push anything above 30 fps. Dont know if its a problem with optimization or not, but a lot of FX8350/290 owners are only seeing 20-50 fps at 1080p. Doesnt help that crossfire profiles dont work...

my 960 runs at about 70fps on medium but its stutters like nothing else.

the first 2 cores on my i5 are locked at 100% whilst the other 2 are at like 40%

Is there a certain point in which you unlock Barn Finds, or can you find them from the start? I've been driving around looking for them, but I have no idea what they look like and I don't know if I've even unlocked them. It feels like I've found every "barn" in the game.

Barn finds unlock after you get enough fans, usually one after every festival expansion. One of the radio stations will usually also immediately blurb out which car it is, and it usually defaults to that station after Warren tells you there's a new barn rumour. They are usually rusted out sheds on the exterior and are about the size of a two car garage, maybe smaller - the exterior is a bit run down from what I can recall looking around Yarra and the outback. Using drone mode helps a lot if you have the perk that plants a marker on the minimap for everything you spot.

Have fun lol. Ive played 20h and apparently Im only 15% done the game. 80% of that time was progressing through the story mode.
