Yeah, I guess, I just want to be able to drive the most realistic SRT JGC that I can ya know. I might buy it instead of Dirt Rally since it has dirt roads and I adore the jungles in FH3, but Dirt is at $30 right now.

Shoulda ordered the ultimate edition then!

All my friends who have it have taken no liberties in rubbing my face in it; meanwhile Im stuck here being a responsible adult, going to lectures and editing photos in my spare time.

I would have done but I couldnt justify spending an extra £40 on a game when I need to be sorting out a car.

I guess I also like the cruising aspect, but I don't have anyone to drive around and race with. I just want to go down to Mexico lol.

Annnnnnnd I just bought FH3. I was going to spend $80 on it but I determined that a few race cars and the VIP thing wasn't really worth it.

And 6 months of DLC. Cant forget that

Yeah, I don't know either. I spent at least an hour looking at what goes with what, especially what cars are in what packs.

Even if I did get 6 months of cars, I'm going to use that $40 for Planet Coaster.

Gonna miss driving this thing around.

Hoping horizon 3 adds Porsche's sooner rather than later

Had a busy weekend. Worked on the sim rig on Saturday and got it up and running, finally. :D

Used our old 40" 1080p TV, bunch of wood laying around the farm, some screws, cordless drill and a saw, and voila:

Moved my PC over on the floor just temporarily. Planning to have the PC stay up on my desk in it's usual spot and use an extension HDMI cable to an HDMI switcher so that I can just switch between the monitor on the desk and the TV on the sim rig as the main display. Will hook up the wheel with an extension USB and use a cheap wireless mouse and KB as well.

Not shown in the pics is a set of Bose speakers + subwoofer I hooked up yesterday. Did a league race with it Saturday night and I can honestly say it did make a difference in my consistency and pace. The whole thing is rock-solid, so no desk shaking when I have to make quick corrections. Shifter is also in a much better, more natural position, reducing miss-shifts. Pedals also no longer move which is nice.

The biggest difference is the enhanced immersion with that 40" display about 3ft from my eyes. It's not VR, don't get me wrong, but I do actually get the sensations you would with VR from time to time, especially at Nordschleife. ;)

Does anyone know the exact time that FH3 releases? Or is it midnight for each time zone? I am willing to wake up an hour early to play it before school.
