Just got my MD HFM HE4XX and it's pretty good build-wise and sound, still putting it through its pace with a 4pin Balanced XLR cable (borrowed from my HFM HE1000). 

 

As you've prolly guessed, I'm something of a HFM fanboy....

Do the HE4XXs make use of HiFiMans old F-connectors?

SInce you said you could use the cable from the HE1000s I would assume so, but that seems like a strange decision.

 

 

I haven't really gotten anything intersting lately. I had to order new glasses and that shit's expensive.

You mean the SMC connectors of the old HFM HE series? No, the HE1000 has those 2.5mm plugs that is now present on all HFM cans, including the HE4XX. Even IF the HE4XX were to have the old SMC plugs, that ain't a problem because I have a 4 pin Balanced XLR to SMC cable too.

Yeah, I guess they're called SMC connectors. I'm just used to calling them F-connectors after the TV standard.

Good to hear that the HE4XX also makes use the 2.5mm connectors. I've had so many problems with the SMC connectors.

A pair of GSA21DS monitor arms for my Acers.  The original feet were too gamer-y and occupied way too much desk space.  Seriously, they were huge. 

Nice arms, but the cable managment channel on the top section of the arm isn't big enough to house 2 inputs as well as the power cable.  That's why my secondary PC's HDMI cable doesn't go through the arm like the rest does.

Bought these lovely speakers (Klipsch RP160M) to finalize my home theater! Use them as rears to complement my 280F's in the Front and 440C in the center. 

They're pretty big as well, lol. Will post pictures of the full system once it's completely done!

They both use 2.5mm mono.
