This event has ended and I recommend you guys head over to the Folding Community Board for any general folding conversation.

Web control is also being weird. Probably too much demand on the servers, or they just need to force an update. The link I posted will show you your point total in 3 hour increments, and it updates more often than the main stats page.

I know. Been watching it like a hawk. Trust me.

@GOTSpectrum Have you heard anything about the web control page acting up?

Have you tried using it in incognito mode?

This is a common issue with Chrome based browsers

Interesting, can't you just use the advanced control panel?

Type FAHControl into the start menu or right-click on the folding icon in the task tray and select advanced control.

EOC only updates once every 3 hours. I believe it's every 3, 6, 9 and 12 hour on central standard Time.

I know about that, I've just had a WU finish and send before the current update by more than an hour, but it's not showing up..

When in doubt, blame the server, I guess.

The guys over at folding have acknowledged an issue with points being awarded, they said no one will lose out on points and a correction will happen when they have the time to do so.

That's reassuring, seeing 0s in the last 6 updates got me worried, lol.

Is everyone gobbling up WUs ahead of me? I've been sitting almost idle all day.

Getting a nice steady stream trickle of CPU WUs on my 2014 Mac Mini with an i5-4260U though 😑

I have an idle i7-5930K c/w RTX2060Super just sitting 1 ft away from it! 🤪

I have been getting a lot of CPU WUs on my GPU today and they cant even run at max capacity. My PPD for this GPU was 900-1m but now it dropped to 600-800 depending on the WU and its running at 80%(Pics in spoilers)

I have that paranoia every 10 sec.

Well the remote interface disconnected and the local displayed image was frozen so yeah.  Hard power cycle and we're good again.  Weird it did that. 2 weeks and an under-power shouldn't cause that.

Is this AWSFolds Amazon Web Services getting (some? 😂) GPU's folding, or have I just connected imaginary dots?

would kinda make sense, i can't imagine someone having enough GPU's at home for 2B PPD.

my PPD has been fluctuating like crazy. sometimes i get multiple WU's in a row, sometimes both my systems are idle for 8 hours straight. :(

Quick question:  I have a Ryzen 3700x with 12 threads I can spare.  Do you recommend leaving it at the 12 w/1 slot or 6 w/2 slots?

one slot with a higher thread count will produce more points than the same thread count split over two slots because of the Quick Return Bonus (QRB) which gives a disproportianetly larger bonus for Work Units (WUs) returned faster.

Having said that on Windows make sure you leave at least one thread free for the OS or it will be very unhappy.

The only reason for going with 2 CPU slots is if you get screwed by the "multiple of large primes" bug. In my case I have a 2700x driving 2 GPUs under Linux so 14 threads left over. But 14 is 2 x7 and 7 is considered a large prime so it drops it down to 13 which is also a large prime so it drops it down to 12. So I setup an 8-thread slot and a 6-thread slot as I didn't want to leave any performance on the table
