Nope, better silicon in the A version. This was back when the 2070s first came out. I bought one the week the partner boards launched

Reasons for this are

1.) You can end up loosing your QRB.

2.) It's wasted work on your end, as well as wasted power.

3.) Someone else has to pick up that work unit rather than it going back and contributing to the next generation of WUs

Ahhhh, early adopter of the Rays. Wish I had the money for one! Though honestly my current cpu would crap itself trying to handle that. Would have to upgrade... (been wanting to. Corona has poured a big ole bucket of water on those dreams this year.)

Wow.  You have a good bathroom fan you can turn on for some negative pressure, or several smaller ones?  If it's that cool outside I'd pull a small vacuum and have the cold air coming into the room.  Done it on nice days when I wanted fresh air in my room.

I've got the window cracked with a small fan blowing...as long as I keep the door open, it's not too bad. My GPU is staying around 75C.

Bah, got a few failed WUs, had overclocked for gaming and forgot to revert before starting folding again.

Good news is there seem to be new servers in place serving large 28800 base units on the spot, zero wait... downside is it means it failed 5 WUs since it always grabbed a new one straight away. Would have never been a problem in the last 10 days

Just delete the slot in the advanced client and recreate it.

I would kill it but every time I look at it chills shoot up my spine in a way that makes me walk away. I've been bitten by a brown recluse before, I don't need to add Black Widow to my list of things survived...

Just went to the folder where the WU are stored and deleted the gpu one. There was a log file in the folder that stated that was a bad work unit...

No trace of that in the logs from the Advanced Control Client

Where <string> is the ID from the "Work Queue" from Advanced Control.

That's the other way. Deleting the Slot and Re-Creating it will nuke any WU in progress

LOL - I'm going into quarantine in 2 days for 2 weeks with 4 members of that sex that use a lot of tp and after 5 pharmacies and grocery stores scored a bulk pack pf 2-ply. For once there were no complaints that I didn't get the 3-ply ultra plush.

Unix syntax and I think the form software auto consumed the dash dash and merged it into an eM-dash
