Not really a good excuse if you ask me. Even the hardest of hardasses should know that filming a bathroom (especially on a platform like Twitch) is a fat no-no.

Yes, most sites have something like that, but what kind of system do they have to stop him from making the new account over and over again and pissing off twitch and making it a problem for them?

I find it funny how so many people think, well I been banned on a website so I can't come back.

Yeah I know, I been that guy before on anther site. I was unjustly banned for calling out a sick mod for picking on someone with disability's via PMs. The mod got pissed and banned me, the admin did not care so I made a new account and did not try to hide anything. Sure I got banned again and again until they no longer allowed new user accounts to be made. That site is more or less died after the news broke that that mods wanted people with disability's killed off. No one waned to post on a site were the mods think people with disability's should all be killed.

It's just not worth it for Dr. Disrespect to do. The current ban will most likey last 30 days at most, after that he can just resume as normal. If he tries to circumvent the ban he will risk his twitch partnership which is a whole lot of money for him. And he will never be able to get partnered on a new account because twitch manually checks those applications.

Just ask all the hackers in free to play games, who get banned for cheating, then keep coming back with new spawned accounts and keep doing the same thing over and over.

Sure, eventually the hacker gets tired and gives up.  Companies will just treat him as inmate#65535.  Then you take an arrow to the knee when you realize the thousands of other hackers are doing the exact same thing.  Oof.

As far as I know (IANAL) generally you can film people without their consent in public areas with some exceptions (kids), however areas where there is an expectation of privacy (changing rooms, toilets, etc) require consent for anyone being filmed. Not sure about in USA, but in Aus there are also laws preventing indecent filming (such as filming up a woman's skirt) even if it may take place in a public area.

Really no surprise that Twitch suspended/banned him for this.

Fun fact: Even popular adult live streaming websites don't allow urination on stream.

The USA is a lot less strict actually. As long as you are in public you can be filmed. Only a couple states have done anything about the issue of filming up women’s skirts. Also if a store has a security camera that can see into a dressing room they can legally do that. I’m not sure the laws about you yourself recording it though
