Unless you just GOTTA have a GPU, please do not spend $800 on a 3060 non Ti. Like try the Eggnew Shuffle (Today at least) They have a 3060 Ti and 3070 in there for $600 and $760 respectively. That would be a tough pill to see you waste such a large sum of money on a far inferior product. Skyrocket prices be damned.

Technically the trio is better, but it shouldn’t matter, the 3060 doesn’t need three fans.

SN750 by a mile. The 980 non-pro is a DRAM-less drive, and the SN750 has a DRAM cache. You want a DRAM cache for most things, especially for an OS drive.

Don't go with single channel RAM. You will cripple performance that way, especially with integrated graphics. If you can only afford 8GB of memory, then get a kit with a pair of 4GB modules.
 

id honestly get the 5900x over the 5800x or just get the 5600x. Its an odd price for 8 cores.
 
You seem to really want ASus parts. is there a  reason why you are overspending an absolute fuckton on that GPU and PSU?
 
Id reccomend a  different cooler, NHD15 or DR Pro, or an AIO 280/360.

-Ryzen 3 1200? that is terribly slow by today's standards. get a i3 10100.
-abysmally slow ram, not even 16GB.
-No SSD?
-Bad GPU
-Terrible case
-PSU is probably a bomb.

That depends on a lot of factors such as chip lottery, thermals, how much use it gets, how well you keep your case and hardware clean from dust, etc.
 
If you look after the card well, i don't see why you can't get 10yrs or more of life out of the card.

They don't really have any standards for motherboards, or power. How the units shut down depends on the hardware in the laptop. They will receive the shutdown command the same as any other computer, but how internals handle that is dependent on the laptop, BIOS, circuitry, etc.

My gut tells me you are looking to do something you shouldn't be...
 

Please for the love of god DO NOT get a GT 710, get the 10700, I'm 99% sure those integrated graphics are better than the 710.
The 710 is a waste of money, it sucked when it released, please get at least a GT 1030... anything is better than a GT 710.
