Which Drive?

Which Gen 3 NVME drive is better? The Samsung 980 or the Western Digital Black SN750. Are there any major differences?

SN750 by a mile. The 980 non-pro is a DRAM-less drive, and the SN750 has a DRAM cache. You want a DRAM cache for most things, especially for an OS drive.

SN750 is a lot better. It’s a lot faster.
