They're also loud as fuck.
You both seem to have some unneeded brand loyalty here.

FirstOfHisName reacted to dlink377 in Using a long lasting battery for a pc
How about just buying a laptop that uses i7 HQ processors, which is almost just as fast as quadcore PC processors?
I think the correct term you want is a laptop, not a PC and Monitor with Battery.

FirstOfHisName reacted to DrMacintosh in Video editing PC with a few quirks.
There is a fine line between gaming PC and a editing PC. Why can't you use your gaming PC as a editing one?
Why spend another 3k?

FirstOfHisName reacted to faziten in Dust-proof case
Oil cooled PC. That is the only way of "Dust proofing" a PC, without going crazy... and it's still pretty bananas.

FirstOfHisName reacted to Daniel Z. in i5 4460 with RX 480 8GB or 1060 6GB?
i5 4460 is fine for now, get a 4790(k) used if you have to. Get the 480 or 580

FirstOfHisName reacted to BaconPie in Dust-proof case
Thanks for all the tips, they're all appriciated! I suppose I'll have to stick with regular cleaning then, since I don't have the means to do anything with my room, nor modding my current case...:D I'm not experiencing hardware issues, so it's fine.

FirstOfHisName reacted to VVoltor in windows installation
You can't fork out a few bucks for a piece of software you use on a daily basis for many years to come? That's pretty damn cheap if you ask me.
Of course you can just use the Media Creation Tool and install Windows, never activate it and live with the limitations. But still, rather pathetic.

FirstOfHisName reacted to 3 Lions in Will this motherboard even work with this CPU?
If you have chosen a 7600K you really should go with a Z270 board.

FirstOfHisName got a reaction from TVwazhere in Rx580 strix in a corsair Air 240???
Get a different version of the GPU?
-
FirstOfHisName got a reaction from c0d0ps in Dust-proof case
There can be no dust proof case. As long as there are holes. Where the air goes in for the fans , such as the CPU Cooler and etc. so if you wan a no dust case you're gonna have to mod it yourself. Seal up all the holes and do a water cooled build. 10/10

Haha funny. But seriously though why would anybody recommend a NEX Gold Rated Unit when you can get a SEASONIC S12II 620 FOR 40 DOLLARS! BOOM Tier 3 and incredibly reliable and good. Seasonic is safesonic.

FirstOfHisName reacted to kachel94 in [HELP] A bunch of questions about a build [PICTURES]
Ok, hopefully i can help..
1. that SYS_FAN6_pump is a fan OR pump PWM header.
2. That back plate as per corsairs official support and engineering that looks completely fine. I've seen this on other back plates.
3. What do you mean?
4. Keep the usb 3.0 plugged in where you have it, generally speaking populate numbered items in sequence.
5. Plug it in anywhere as long as its marked for use for that specific plug. EG PCIE plug to PCIE
plug. Obvs don't force the connector.
