My workmate kept messing with my PC, changing wallpapers, setting local policies, flipping screen, inverting mouse buttons, changing keyboard to dvorak, you know all the usual shit. 

 

I came into work a few days ago in a foul mood and was greeted by my work machine which was in high contrast mode and running at 800x600, so i did what any reasonable person would do, and booted DBAN on his beloved refracta linux installation and nuked it. He came in the next day and was actually quite shocked i had nuked his work PC lol, needless to say i don't think he will do it again. 

 

Either way i told him i would fix it for him eventually, so today i decided to make it better for him.

 

As a devout linux guy, do you think he will like it ? :D

nah he uses windows 10 on the domain for official company stuff so he's kinda used to it, he hates it yeah, but it wouldn't have had the same effect as seeing the dreaded windows vista logo at startup lol

windows 8 was my other option though in fairness

hahaa, as a thought i don't know why i turned off the glorious gadgets on the desktop. such a useful feature...............

might dual boot it with vista haha. Speaking of updates, i have left vista updating for a few hours now and it has done nothing.

You should've just took out the cpu and put the slowest one in there.

 

 

edit : oh and put in the lest amount of ram you have

yeah i said i would fix it, so i put vista on it hahahaha.

 

I'll wait until he goes to reinstall linux manually and then i'll give him the image. Might encrypt it into a RAR though and send him on a scavenger hunt for the password. 

 

trust me this guy has done more than enough to my PC to deserve this :D
